Fire Extinguisher Valves

The fire extinguisher valve is one of the essential parts of a fire extinguisher. Attached to the mouth of the cylinder, the valve keeps the extinguishing agent inside under pressure and, when the lever is pressed, releases it in a controlled way through the hose or nozzle. We supply valves for dry powder fire extinguishers in different capacities on a wholesale basis.

What does a fire extinguisher valve do?

The valve seals the cylinder, provides the connection point for the pressure gauge and controls the flow of extinguishing agent during use. A faulty valve can cause the extinguisher to lose pressure or fail when needed. For this reason, the valve is checked during refilling and servicing, and worn or damaged valves are replaced.

Valve types

• 1 kg extinguisher valve: For 1 kg extinguishers used in vehicles and small areas.
• 6 kg single and double valves: For 6 kg extinguishers, widely used in workplaces, homes and common areas.
• 12 kg chrome-plated valve: Chrome-coated, for 12 kg extinguishers.
• 1-1/2" valve
